149 Degrees Fahrenheit Thermal Switch for Electric Scooters, Bikes and Go Karts
Thermal cut-off switch with 149 degree Fahrenheit activation rating. Normally closed switch contacts. Contacts open when switch reached 149 degrees Fahrenheit (65 degrees Celsius). Intended for custom electric scooter, bike and go kart projects. Epoxy this switch onto an electric motor or speed controller to deactivate the power when temperatures are too hot for the components to handle. Thermal switches can help create a bulletproof electric vehicle design that prevents overheating and damage of critical components. Rated for 5 Amps. Can be hooked directly into low power switching circuits or used in conjunction with a power relay to control higher power electrical loads. Stainless steel cased thermal switch is 3/4" long x 1/4" wide x 1/8" high and black wire leads are 2-1/2" long.
