Problem: Scooter Runs Slowly or Has a Short Run Time

The batteries have been conditioned if they are brand new.

The air pressure in the tires has been checked and adjusted if necessary.

The brake system has been inspected for rubbing and adjusted if necessary.

The battery charger has been checked and replaced if necessary.

The battery pack is good or has been replaced with a new battery pack.
Next Step: Inspect the Electrical System
Electrical components such as motors and speed controllers will sometimes still function after being overheated but only to a limited capacity. Remove the footplate from the scooter and get your nose up to the motor and speed controller to smell for any type of burned electronics odors. If any components have a burned smell to them they are subject to not functioning at 100% of their capacity. Replace any electrical components that smell burned and or that have melted wires and retest the scooter.
